海東一家
一家之言，細品清茶濁酒； 大家之路，閱盡江北海東。
除夕三十和大年初一，是互相拜年的高峰。真誠的祝願與祝福，讓我們感受到友情的醇厚與甜蜜。其實，我們真正應該好好拜一拜的，是我們的父親和母親。
是他們，給我們生命，給我們溫暖，給我們安慰，給我們力量，給予他們能夠給予我們的一切。
是他們，為我們付出了艱辛，付出了勞苦，付出了思念，付出了一生，付出了他們可以付出的全部。
在我們的一生之中，還有誰能為我們做到這些？還有什麽能比他們更為重要？
爸爸媽媽在，這個家就在，你就永遠是個孩子，在他們麵前。
他們不在了，這個家就不在了。你就不再是個孩子，而變成了真正意義上的父親和母親，開始新的一代。
父母對孩子的愛，是永遠的。無論你走多遠，媽媽的愛永遠跟著你。無論你做什麽，爸爸的愛永遠幫著你。
這就是家庭：父親和母親，孩子們對他們的愛。
記得剛來這裏不久的一天，兒子從學校回來，問我：你知道FAMILY 這個詞是什麽意思嗎？我說，家、家庭的意思，這誰不知道。兒子說，我是問FAMILY這個詞裏每個字母的意思。
FAMILY = Father And Mother I Love You
家FAMILY就是父親Father和And母親Mother我I愛Love你們You。
那是我第一次知道對這個單詞每個字母的解釋，讓我對家庭的涵義有了又一份理解和認識。
昨天，我的那位香港同學Juhnny在我的博客上留言，將他朋友送他的一首詩送給了我。這首英文詩，讓我知道了FAMILY 這個詞後麵的故事。
下麵這首詩，就是他送我的，我也轉送給朋友們。一首英文詩，也算是為中國新年和家庭團聚增添一點國際色彩吧。
F A M I L Y
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
“Oh excuse me please” was my reply.
He said, “Please excuse me too;
I wasn’t watching for you.”
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
“Move out of the way,” I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little! heart broken.
I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God’s still small voice came to me and said,
“While dealing with a stranger,
Common courtesy you use,
But the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You’ll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
You never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.”
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
“Wake up, little one, wake up,” I said.
“Are these the flowers you picked for me?”
He smiled, “I found ‘em, out by the tree.
I picked ‘em because they’re pretty like you.
I knew you’d like ‘em, especially the blue.
I said, “Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.”
He said, “Oh, Mom, that’s okay.
I love you anyway.”
I said, “Son, I love you too,
And I do like the flowers, especially the blue.”
FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don’t you think?
So what is behind the story?
