Another Poem for Love
I dedicate another poem for love
that I feel stronger & stronger each day
even though they tell me
nothing survives wind & dust
but I've seen too many victims
of greed and lust
This love
born in a poem each day anew
though the sun remains the same ol' fellow
It is small like a birdsong
which I will never be tired of hearing
So I ask you to sing
about day's passing & night's longing
Sing each word we breathe
Sing the rain, the wind, the leafless trees
Sing the wound, the tears
Sing your hair, your eyes, your breasts
your belly & your womanly secrets
Sing about life with true understanding
as we sing death
Sing the joy in your heart
as happily as we sing fears
Don't stop singing
even when all the mouths are shut
by a false God!
Curse if you feel like it
but curse right into his face!
No one should rob us
of this love even though
we can't keep stars from sinking
Love is earned, not granted
like a poem, that is earned
by loving.

take care!
then you are welcome :)
i love the LOVE in the poem:) [tongue twister :)]
