Kahlua·一款咖啡酒

情人節的禮物,除了玫瑰還有一瓶咖啡酒-Kahlua。

與一切Coffee有關的東西我都喜歡,何況裏麵還有酒香?不過,還沒有瘋狂到不分時間場合隨手拎來就喝的程度。想著可以在周末品嚐。

早上睜眼時,孩子們還在熟睡,LG則已經出了門,大概在和球友們揮杆切磋球藝了。安頓好身邊雀躍的狗和親昵地圍著你打轉的兩隻貓,便開始照著方子調製自己的晨飲。嗯,好喝!

Ingredients

  • 2 espressos (each 50 ml)
  • 1 cup crushed ice (150 ml)
  • 40 ml Kahlúa (coffee liqueur)
  • 40 ml milk
  • 2 tsp. caster sugar

Preparation

  • Make the espressos and allow to cool.
  • Put the cold espressos, the Kahlúa, the milk and the crushed ice together with the caster sugar in the Drink Master and blend.
  • Serve in two small glasses.。



其實,如果你喜歡酒味更濃些的話,完全可以更簡單些。在酒杯裏加冰塊,把Kahlua酒倒進去就好。

當然,如果你特別想念Kahlua的味道,卻又無法馬上出門去買,你也可以製作山寨版的Kahlua 。Kahlua的意思本來就是"House of the Acolhua people" :)。

Ingredients

2 ounces instant coffee
4 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 vanilla bean, coarsely chopped

Liquor
1 fifth brandy
1 fifth vodka

Preparation
Bring all ingredients except for liquor to a boil slowly. (As soon as it comes to a boil turn it off, can't stress it enough) stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool. Be sure to cool completely then add liquor.

If you don't allow mixture to cool before adding your liquor your liquor may evaporate some.

After adding the liquor to your mixture, fill your liquor bottles with the completed mixture making sure to use a fine strainer to collect the pieces of vanilla bean. Kahlua mixture does not need to be refrigerated. To enjoy a "White Russian" just pour the desired amount over ice and add milk to taste.
