在服務部前台,一位女士把相機接過去,看了看,說119塊。我說,你還沒看裏麵,怎麽就是119呢?女士麵無表情地說,E18是一個常見錯誤,$119 flat rate。
我說:“No wonder. A lot of people complain about this E18 defect”。
女士冰冰地說:“This is not a defect。People may have put water or sand inside。”上來就推脫責任。
她接著說:“If this were defect,it would have been recalled。You can repair it for $119,replace it with a refurbished one for $175,or you buy a new camera。It is up to you。” 沒招回難道就沒有defect嗎?
我說,花了600塊買相機,一年半又要120塊來修。
“It is up to you”,她冷冷地重複了一遍。
我一聽就不悅,“It is easy for you to say that。Of course,it is up to me。Otherwise,I didn’t even buy this camera in the first place。”
前台的一個美國小夥子見狀,讓我坐一坐,然後把相機拿去,給後麵的修理工看看。幾分鍾後,他出來說:“Maybe it’s just moisture。Will you do it if we offer you 50% discount?”
還是修吧,當作是買了extended warranty。兩天後,相機就被寄回來,修好了。隻是冬天即將來臨,別過兩天老毛病又犯了。
