NARA上一個檔案：“Chinese Visitors Talking to NARA [National Archives and Records Administration] Staff in the Federal Record Center Stack Area”，ID=29011112，隻有一張圖，下麵說明：“This item was produced or created on November 7, 1990”。所以，中國很早就知道NARA而且去過。不知去的是國內哪個單位，後來在哪些方麵有合作，或者用NARA的資料。

中國人訪問美國國家檔案館 1990，架子上很多紙質，都是原始檔案，下麵還有很多箱子沒有打開。

這個檔案：“Photograph of Center Market”（ID=7851127），是華盛頓的一個老地方--Center Market，攝於1928年（viewed from 9th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue），1931年為了建NARA推到
