臨別時，秋葉

在微風中飄下
校門外，小路
見零星落花
秋去秋來，雖相逢無期
你熟悉的聲音，指引我
走遍海角天涯

時光流逝，卻忘不了
你的笑容、白發
胡子裏，藏著

前輩的智慧精華
寒窗歲月，更難忘
昔日的苦心教誨
無限懷念，隨秋雨
獻上我心中的詩話

 

 

Cherish the memory of my teacher

 

        --   A poem dedicated to my dear teacher

 

 

I bade farewell to you, when autumn leaves

 

fall gently, in a breeze

 

Flowers dropped outside

 

 

Scattering on the little path, as I went by

 

 

Autumn after autumn, we are yet to meet again

 

 

Your familiar voice, though, still guiding me

 

 

everyday, everywhere, never ends.

 

 

 

 

 

A long time may have gone by

 

 

In my mind still, are your grey hair, and those gentle smiles

 

 

A beard, that symbolizes

 

 

an old man’s knowledge

 

 

reminds me, of your teaching

 

 

and those long gone, school years

 

 

Oh, take this poem to my teacher, autumn rain

 

 

Wherever he may be, his kindly image, remains.
