Every human being is supposed to inherit 23 pairs of chromosomes from both sides of parents. How chromosomes X and Y match decide whether your baby is a boy or girl. XX is a girl, XY is a boy. Some girls even contain one single X or triple X; such abnormality means that the baby may have some dysfunctions in her later development. That's what I learned so far from reading a text book called "The Human Anatomy& Physiology".
As my pregnancy became vividly day by day, people around me like to asked me questions such as, " do you want to have a boy or girl?" or ," do you know it yet?" I do not appreciate this type of curiosity, or maybe just a crazy pregnant woman's sensitivity. I actually do not give a damn shit whether my darling is a boy or girl, as long as she/ he is healthy. I know that my hubby's side of family would love to have a boy very much, some of his relatives even implicitly underline that if it's a boy he may inherit some properties from Q.C's parents. Who care? We are self-sufficient and very happy to live our own life.
I told Q.C that I am going to take care my own little one no matte what. Maybe for the first month I would appreciate some helps for house chores, otherwise I do not trust my darling with anyone else. Look at all the western women, neither of them have the tradition of "sitting the first month", but they do look fine and healthy as young mums. I think I can manage this challenge or shall I say let’s enjoy the new blessing in my life? lol
