My hubby is reading Chinese classical texts these days.  He is reading Mencius and takes a great delight in the reading. He asked me: "Why aren't you interested in classics?" Jokingly I answered: "Because I am a modern woman." Then he asked, "why am I interested in them?" "Because you have an ancient soul!" I answered cheesily. We had a good laugh.

Reading classicas and listening to music is a nice way to divert your sadness and unhappy feelings.

My aunt passed away last week.  She was 80 years old.  I have many fond memories of her.  I should have visited her when I was in China.
