昨日重現

Karen Carpenter,生於1950年,走紅於七十年代。中國大陸對西方開放，卡倫卡彭特是最先在中國大陸的土地上登錄的西方文化代表之一。 

她的很多首歌都非常好聽，世界之巔（Top of the World,1973），《車票》（Ticket to Ride, 1970）、《超級明星》（Superstar, 1971）、《請郵差》（Please Mr. Postman, 1974）《什錦菜》（Jambalaya, 1974）都超好聽。《昔日重來》（Yesterday Once More）更是一首經典曲目。 

我第一次聽這首歌時還在上海，走在葡萄藤下的校園小路上，一個同學拎著收音機走過，收音機裏正播著這首歌。 

“When I was young I'd listen to the radio  

Waiting for my favorite songs 

When they played I'd sing along, 

It made me smile. 

Those were such happy times and not so long ago 

How I wondered where they'd gone. 

But they're back again just like a long lost friend 

All the songs I love so well. 

Every shalala every wo'wo still shines.

Every shingling that they're starting to sing so fine 

When they get to the part where he's breaking her heart

It can really make me cry just like before.

It's yesterday once more.

Looking back on how it was in years gone by

And the good times that had makes today seem rather sad,

So much has changed.

It was songs of love that I would sing to them

And I'd memories each word.

Those old melodies still sound so good to me

As they melt the years away

我獨自為它伴唱 他們使我感到歡喜 這樣的幸福時光早已遠去 

我多想知道他們去了那裏？ 象失散的朋友再次回來 所有的歌曲 

我還是那樣喜歡 每一句 sha la la la 每一句wo wo 仍散發光彩 

每一句sing aling aling 他們唱得還是如此動聽 

當歌曲演繹到 傷心的地方 確實讓我哭泣 。。。。 昨日重現 

回頭看看走過的這些時光 幸福記憶讓今天的我感傷 有太多已經改變 

那首我曾為他唱的愛情歌曲 每句歌詞還印在我腦海裏 

那些舊的記憶依然那麽美妙 為我帶走 這麽多年的憂傷 

每一句 sha la la la 每一句wo wo 仍散發光彩 

每一句sing aling aling 他們唱得還是如此動聽 所有美妙回憶 

清晰地向我襲來 他們確實能讓我哭泣 就象以前那樣。。。。 昨日重現 

 在80年代的世界流行樂壇，卡彭特兄妹演唱組合一度成為美國乃至世界青年的偶像，是無數少男少女的夢中情人。Karen的嗓音是造物主的恩賜：空靈、安恬而略帶憂鬱，可以輕易地俘虜你的心。每次聽Carpenter的歌我都有一種久旱逢甘霖，它鄉遇故知的感覺，親切溫暖難以言表。她的歌聲能輕而易舉地帶動你的情感，一下子就觸到你的靈魂深處，像一隻溫柔的手撩撥著你的內心最美妙的心弦，這個時候你會發現自己不知不覺地成了Carpenter的奴隸，成了她的音樂的奴隸。 

 1983年，Karen Carperter由於長期靠節食以保持自己苗條的身材，患上了厭食症，不治而亡，一顆巨星就此殞落，她隻活了32歲。

卡彭特的歌伴隨著我的青澀歲月，我曾經如此迷戀她的一切， 不僅她的歌聲， 還有那歌聲中的意境，他們引領著我來到美國這個自由的國度，為此我將終生感謝，感謝她天使一般的聲音。

我翻成：“當他們播放時我跟著唱，這帶給我歡笑。”和你的比有兩點更動。１。不用“獨自”而用“跟著”for the word along. ２。不用“他們”而用“這”for the word it.

我也喜歡並唱這歌。我還喜歡"What Will Be" by Doris Day, "Country Roads Take Me Home" by John Dever, "Right Here Waiting" by Richar Max. Of course at this season there are many of my favorite Christmas songs. "White Christmas" is one.

By the way, the "It make me smile" must be "It made me smile"

記得學英語時，也是喜歡聽她的歌，因為她唱的歌詞特別清晰。
