First attempt at oil portait

第一次嚐試畫油畫人像。對怎麽調配flesh tone 還是不怎麽得心應手。這個是一堂課，三個小時畫的。 Colors look too warm. It might also have something to do with the color I used to tone the canvas, burnt sienna, which is very warm. But it's pretty fun to do a face in oil.

The model seems like it. She took pictures of my paintings(this one and the one from last class, posted below) on her camera phone before she left. hehe.

同一個模特，上節課畫的。沒有畫得很細致。But the teacher and classmates were all saying, this is done! Sandy even likes this one better than the portrait. I like the colors and the composition. It somehow got her attitude, which is less evident in the portrait. She has a nose ring. Very slender. Waif-like frame. Soft blond hair. She broke her leg doing sword-fighting, although recovered.
