【職場點滴】We are still considering... ...

All the names in this writing piece are alias. 

In a new production process development project, the engineering team proposed an automation solution which requires some new equipment. The proposal was also given to production team to consider. 

Matthew from the engineering department asked purchasing department, Mark, to request a quote for a piece of equipment.   

Mark provided the quote from the supplier quickly.  Then it went to silence... ...

A few weeks later Mark sent a follow up email to Matthew: Hi, Matthew, are we still considering purchasing the equipment? 

Matthew turned to Paul the production team leader: Hi, Pual, How do I answer Mark? He is asking if we are still considering purchashing the equipment.

Paul hesitated for a few seconds: Y~e~s, we are still considering ... ... ... ...
