Deep into the second night of racing at the 2017 Moab 240 mile Endurance Run I hallucinated a new friend high up in the La Sal Mountain Range: a leopard in a hammock.

This friend, and the other hallucinations I’ve had out on the trails, have come to represent more to me than just a ridiculous story to share post-race. They also remind me that we are capable of pushing ourselves harder, that we can chase a goal that feels crazy, and that we should always find the fun(ny) in whatever we’re doing.

...But, it’s also just a leopard lounging on a hammock, which is fun to imagine in real life.

CustomInk helped me get these shirts on my crew for the Tahoe 200 this past September and, while I work to develop a website of my own, are helping me get them out to all of you! Get your Leopard in a Hammock T and start chasing down your own crazy!
