this house I own, on setpic, tenant call few days ago, water not going down.
this is old house with 2 tanks, old tank is 1000 gal, new tank is mounted system, also 1000gal.
so....
1. we ran the our snake, no luck, labor cost, 3 hours.
2. went rent a sewer snake, work only one day, rental cost $45, labor, 3 hours.
3. so I thought the pump in new tank is not pumping waste water to leach field, so we trace the underground power line, change plug, no luck, 3 hours.
4. change septic pump, $200, labor 3 hours, no luck.
5. call to have setpic tank pump out, cost for 1000 gal tank, $250.
6. work one day, same problem, we determinted the pvc line between 2 tank is cracked, have to call in my setpic people.
7. my guys are digging the line now, cost, $500.
wft, already spend $500 and 15 hours of labor, and still another $500 minimum to get it repair..
