I was trying to turn on the water service for a recently vacant property and found that
for last year the previous tenant did not turn on the water service when moved in while
I explicitly asked her to switch the water service and that was also written in lease.
She either stole the water or the city did not turn off the water when i closed my account.
Now in order to start the service the used water has to be accounted.
The tenant disappeared and it is going to be hard to hold her accountable besides a blank court judgement, I think.
And the water has to be turned on from my side.
Any ideas or suggestions for a better solution?
