Sorry for typing in english. I have tried posting in chinese for 10 times and nothing went through.
One seemingly good tenant/applicant, 800 fico, moderately good salary from very reputable company, in divorce procedures, has mortgage but moving out of the house alone, but I checked his background and found 2 landlord tenant disputes (both dismissed by court) from 10 years ago. Is this something of concern?
Do I need to have applicant's conscent before running background check? I did not use his SSN and we are in NY.
One other question: how can i figure out if a guy can afford the rent or not?
