Make her prove it -- ask her for medical records

She needs to prove her daughter really was hit by the ceiling and suffered an injury as a result.  There would be bruises, images, diagnosis by the doctor/nurse...etc.  That should be in the medical records. 

But I do think it is time to say goodbye to her regardless.
