被IRS騷擾了，專家們救命呀！！！！！

不知道這裏是不是合適的版麵，但我知道這裏懂稅的大俠一定很多，特來求救

我在2009年的時候放了五千元在traditional IRA,但由於收入的原因，不能DEDUCT,所以是稅後的錢買的

2010年由於不太懂稅，把TRADITIONAL IRA 的錢convert到了ROTH IRA.以為這樣做不用再補稅而且以後取的時候就不用繳稅了。轉的時候賬戶上是4800元

2011年四月保稅截止日之前，突然發現原來這個conversion要補稅，因我還有個SEP-IRA,而且數額大得多，又是稅前的。IRS 會按照traditional IRA and SEP IRA 的比例來算conversion的稅. 不知道我理解得是否正確，反正是panic了。打電話給vanguard要求把錢全部轉回traditional IRA,當天完成了交易。當時賬戶上是5100元

就在今天收到了IRS的通知，要我補交相當於4800元收入的稅再加利息。我覺得我不用交。事實上我以收到vanguard的1099R for 2011,上麵列了$5100的roth IRA distribution, with distribution code=R, and R was noted in the fine print as 'recharacterized IRA contribution made for 2010 and recharacterized in 2011'.

請專家們出手幫幫我吧，頭都大了。按照我的理解，I made a full recharacterization so I don't owe any money to IRS。

or maybe I own tax on 5100-4800=$300 income?  that'll be so unfair as I made contribution after tax in the first place and never made any withdrawl

anyone can help me?  please!!!  the IRS clock is ticking and it's asking for my hard earned money
