He got an apartment leased and ready to move then the buyer backed out! He said he was fortunate to get out of the apartment lease otherwise he would be paying for the apartment now. It is apparent that he is under enormouse financial stress. He is an architect (maybe you can hire him?) and it must be miserable to live his current situation.
