求教一個賣房depreciation recapture的問題

有個房子，買42萬，十年後賣45萬。每年大概一般的收支相抵，加上depreciation以後就是負的。

十年大概depreciate 7萬。

因為我不是professional，沒有take deduction，所以十年房子accrued 7萬loss。

房子本身adjusted basis變成42-7=35萬。

賣房子的時候，我的capital gain是45-35=10萬，到我的schedule D上，和我以前股票虧的long term capital loss抵消了。

然後那7萬積攢下來的loss跑到1040上和我的w2收入衝抵，導致最後IRS要退不少錢給我。

這樣對嗎？我一直以為recapture的意思是那七萬的capital gain會被當作normal income處理
