買房Escrow account的問題

最近換了自住房，首付不夠所以貸款的時候銀行就給加了一個escrow，以前一直沒有用過。

當時closing的時候預付了相當於未來13個月的home insurance和property tax到escrow裏。第一個賬單來了，不明白為啥還要繼續按月付escrow。我以為這個escrow賬戶現金足夠就可以先不用付。實在是搞不明白。

各位可以幫忙解惑一下嗎？
