We don't have to please anyone here by telling the lies even the white ones. :)
I do feel some changes in my intonation when I compare what I read now with what I did before. Just as you pointed out, the change may be too minor to tell. But I just feel right about this learning approach.
And I do hope one of classmates here can come up with a real valueable way to improve oral English effectively or maybe everyone has his own tricks which can only get himself benefited.
