I don't count those that I only read the introduction or summary, or just read for fun. I can only mindfully read 3-5 books a year when I have a job and a family to take care.
Among all the people I know, my brother in law reads books the fastest. But I am not sure if he is able to finish 10 thousand books in his life time, since he has a non book reading related job which consumes the largest portion of his time.
