回複:翻譯難 翻譯苦(zt)

I couldn't agree with you more. English may be your subject, but some interpreters I know studied something else in university. It is even more difficult for them. When an interpreter vowed in court first time, she is so nervouse that saying " I swear to lord" instead of " I swear to God."

Some clients are poor educated. They came from local villeges in china and never know a word of English. When you work for them, you would choose words carefully, otherwise they can't understand, eg. antibiotic----消炎藥 rather than 抗菌素。
anal----------***** rather than 肛門。
