My first water splash photography exercise. Water splash photography is one of the coolest genres of photography. Beside the camera settings, A mechanism to create and catch the water drops need to be in place, i.e. the subject. It can be as simple as hanging a water-filled zip bag with a pin hole and a cooking pan for water puddle; or the specialized equipment which can be synchronized with the camera shutter and produce more repeatable splash results, there are also splash pattern or shape settings on the device. My beginner's setting seems only give water droplets the most. I may need to play with different height or bigger holes on the zip bag. I took several hundred shots only captured one little mushroom #6. Knowing the limit I turned my focus to the color reflections on the water surface achieved with different backgrounds, it can be anything, a shoe box, picture frame, shopping bag, seat cushion etc.
