I was pulled over once by police too in my driving life, for turning left too slow at a traffic light嘻嘻.  

I just started driving in my newly bought $800 car (bright green and yellow in colour ;-), and started to turn left at the end of the yellow light when the car in the oppsite direction stopped totally, and turned slowly to make sure no one hit me.

Unfortunately, a police car was right behind me . 恨

No fine, but I got 6 points off from something I had no idea about.
