它讓你想起寧靜的小溪，蜿蜒平緩地流過綠色草原，被賞心悅目的樹木遮蔽著，直至最後流入遼闊的大海；但大海如此平靜，如此無聲，如此無動於衷，以至於你突然間被一種模糊的不安所困擾。（from The Moon and Sixpence)

It reminds you of a tranquil stream，winding around the green prairie，covered by delightful trees，until merging into wide-open sea. However, the sea is so quiet, so silent, so indifferent,  that you are annoyed by a vague uneasiness all of a sudden.
