Pippa is the main character in Browning's verse drama,

Pippa Passes.

She is a young, blamess silk-winding girl. She wanders innoecently through the enviros of Asolo, attributig kindness and virtue to the people she passes. She sings as she goes, her song influencing others to act for the good-or, at least, reminding them of the existence of a moral order.
