不要在一棵樹上吊死 = There’s more than one way to skin a cat。

我自己感覺兩句話意思差不多。而且，中文說“吊死”，英文說“剝皮”，都挺嚇人的。

突然想起來，人們在說完“不要在一棵樹上吊死”後，往往會再跟一句“天涯何處無芳草”
