七律  紅燭綠窗新月明（平水韻八庚）  

 

--------祝賀小梅小羊新婚之喜

 

 

珠簾風細宜鸞夢，紅燭綠窗新月明。   

  

並蒂芙蓉繡詩意，雙棲蝴蝶舞幽情。  

  

畫眉青黛待君看，舉案白頭隨影行。   

  

閬苑倚闌花下醉，三生約定聽琴聲。 

 

 

I am a bright moon in the sky, quiet and gentle. My silver face, through the willow, leaves an elegant smile. In 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', William Shakespeare describes me in lines ---"The moon, like to a silver bow new-bent in heaven, shall behold the night of our solemnities."  I, the Moon, am an inspiration to poets and an opportunity for lovers. Under my dreamy moonlight, a new couple, 小梅 and 小羊, are very happy to be together. The bride’s smile is like summer moonlight-beautiful and magical, with a fire that could melt the night.  It is a wonderful night. The wind and the flowers are singing. When the bridegroom hears this romantic music, he takes his girl out. They dance in the moonlight to enjoy their honeymoon. My friends, 小梅 and 小羊, best wishes on your wonderful journey, as you build your new lives together. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. May the love and happiness you feel today shine through the years!
