Yesterday Once More （昨日重現）

 

When I was young                        昔我幼時

I'd listen to the radio                     喜聽電台

Waitin' for my favorite songs        候吾愛曲

When they played I'd sing along  隨之哼唱

It made me smile.                         微笑自現。

 

Those were such happy times     彼之歡時

And not so long ago                     去今未遠

How I wondered where they'd gone 疑其何去

But they're back again                偏又重歸

Just like a long lost friend           似友重逢

All the songs I loved so well.      吾之愛歌。

 

Every Sha-la-la-la                       每拍節奏

Every Wo-o-wo-o                        每聲吟哦

Still shines                                   依舊生輝

Every shing-a-ling-a-ling            縷縷悠揚

That they're startin' to sing's       歌聲再起

So fine.                                       美好如斯。

 

When they get to the part           當其唱至

Where he's breakin' her heart    君傷妾心

It can really make me cry           我淚縱橫

Just like before                           恰似從前

It's yesterday once more.           昨日重現。

 

Lookin' back on how it was       回看究竟

In years gone by                       數年已逝

And the good times that I had  舊時良辰

Makes today seem rather sad  愈顯今哀

So much has changed.             時過境遷。

 

It was songs of love that           愛之歌曲

I would sing to then                   我願再唱

And I'd memorize each word    憶其聲聲

Those old melodies                  老歌舊調

Still sound so good to me         依舊動聽

As they melt the years away.    能融歲月。
