有個安徽某大學畢業的叫方什麽的科普作家已經澄清了這個問題MANDARIN這詞和滿族沒關係
明朝的時候葡萄牙人機關明朝官員叫MANDARIN了,
所以把MANDARIN翻譯成滿大人(比如傅雷)或者
把MANDARIN翻譯成滿清官話都是以訛傳訛

Name[edit]
The English word "mandarin" (from Portuguese mandarim, from Malay menteri, from Sanskrit mantrin, meaning "minister or counsellor") originally meant an official of the Chinese empire.[4][5] Since their home dialects were varied and often mutually unintelligible, these officials communicated using a koiné based on various northern dialects. When Jesuit missionaries learned this standard language in the 16th century, they called it "Mandarin", from its Chinese name Guānhuà (官話/官話), or "language of the officials".[6]
