"I would" and "You should"

我發現一個很有趣的現象，老美在給他人提建議時，很多時候用的語句是“I would talk to Mr. Smith first, then..."
而老中一般會直接說，“You should talk to Mr. Smith, then ..."
我開始很不習慣老美的這種句式，簡直是不知所雲。後來一個偶然的機會我也用了“I would" 給同事提建議，結果反應很好，同事感謝我給她的建議。
不知大家有沒有和我同樣的感受？
