I didn't spend too much time on the materials you mentioned above. I visited that website many times and found it helpful. I listened Ann Cook's audio only one time, but I didn't do any exercises. Cook's book is not suitable for me until I solve the basic pronunciation problems. The only problem of these materials might be that they are not for "Chinese" only. They might be helpful for accent reduction, but they are useless for accent elimination.
I'm still "閉門造車“-ing now, so I might laugh at myself sooner or later.
