再問兩個字，老師們幫我看看是中性還是貶義詞呢？謝謝

1） While been asked if he knew Ms A before the accident, Mr Robert denied.

2) Mr Robert claimed he did not meet Ms A on 2 July 2011.


請問1）denied 和 2) claimed 是中性詞還是貶義詞？

我的意思是我用這個字並不代表我不相信他的話。可是我的句子裏這兩個字被改掉。說是避免放入我們自己的的判斷。好像我很objectively don't trust what Mr Robert said 這樣子的意思。


我怎麽一直覺得這兩字很中立沒有那個意思呢。 謝謝老師們解答。 ：）
