中國疾病預防控製中心(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)慢病中心常務副主任王臨虹說，中國正在努力應對人口城市化和老齡化問題，並且深受慢性病困擾。她說，中央政府部門采取的進一步措施應包括普及常識、增加醫生培訓、方便民眾定期檢查等。
Wang Linghong, executive deputy director of Chronic Disease Center, Chinese Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said that China is struggling to cope with urbanization and aging problem of its population which are bothered by chronic diseases. She said, further steps that the central government departments will take should include popularizing common senses, increasing training for doctors, and facilitating periodic health exams for the public.
