I did not expect such an overwhelming response. I just wanted to vent out my anger, and forget what had happened and move on. I learned a lot from your posts (all of you). In some of your posts, I found the inspiration and encouragement for me to continue to fight the good fight against racism. In other posts, I found the concrete advice and wise suggestions on how to deal with racists in the future.
Personally I don’t like to use curse or swear words, which will bring me down to their levels. Several of you have given very good suggestions on what to say in a similar situation. I was caught off guard this time, and I think I will be better prepared and do much better next time, although I do hope that there will not be next time.
