最覺的怪的地方是

沒有見過being blown in the wind
The flag is blowing in the wind.
The wind is blowing....
you can say the stone bridge is standing against the strong wind or something....

根據您的上下文，也許可以說
I'd rather be turned into a stone bridge, battered by wind for 500 years.
I'd rather continue to be a stone bridge, scorched by sun for 500 more years.
