Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate 
To say that for destruction ice 
Is also great
And would suffice

有人說世界滅於火，
有人說毀於冰。
根據我對貪欲的體味，
我傾向於滅於火之說。
但如果世界要毀滅兩次，
基於我對仇恨足夠的了解，
說要毀滅，冰，
破壞力足夠，
且有餘綽綽。
