聯合國糧農組織的這份報告說，在發展中國家，婦女占農村勞動力的43%，但是隻有10%到20%的婦女擁有她們耕種的土地而且她們也更難獲得信貸來購買更好的種子和肥料。
The report of Food and Agriculture United Nation Organization claimed that women occupied forty three percent of agriculture labour force in developing countries, but only ten to twenty percent of them owned the farm land. They also have difficult time to apply a loan to buy better seeds and fertilizers.
