Swedish academy announced this 10 million Swedish kronor ($1.4 million) award on Thursday, saying the reason to choose this 80 years old writer is that “He provides us a new way to get into reality through his abstract and deeply clear intents”.

103,000 new jobs were created in U.S during September, but unemployment rate still stays high at 9.1%.
