我希望網友不要被18世紀的英文嚇倒。 18世紀的英文有時此起彼伏，前呼後擁。那麽什麽是前呼後擁呢？就按這句來講，就是倒裝。這句話可以寫成：

the freedom of the debate ought to be in proportion to the magnitude of the subject
