這還能體現在報紙雜誌，電視電影上。不管是用什麽詞匯，意思是一樣的，通俗易懂。如果文法是錯誤的，一眼就能夠看得出來。就像：“今晚我們出去吃飯吧”和”我們今晚出去吃飯吧“是一樣的。如果是：”出去我們吃飯今晚吧“就是語法錯誤了。
在當今美國社會，種族主義還是相當嚴重。早在70年代，我在學校裏還是有同學叫我：“Hey, Chinaman”。現今，在華人圈子裏有過之而無不及，中國人看不起中國人彼彼皆是，一些會說兩句英文的中國人對自己的同胞從不說中文，而他/她們根本不知道他/她們的口音是中國人的口音，自以為高人一等。更有甚者，一些嫁娶了白人的中國人更加囂張，自以為人上人，自以為是英文一定高人一等，而他/她們根本不知道是自己在出醜。
