It has been proved experimentally that children can learn how to swim at young age. In a specially-designed swimming pool in Los Angeles, children could hold their breath skillfully before they learned how to walk. Two-month old babies did not show unwillingness to be in water, and they quickly learned swimming and could pick up the objects placed at the bottom of the pool. One of the favorable games of these young swimmers is underwater tricycle racing. Tricycles are placed in parallel 7 feet under the water. Children raced to see who would be the first to reach the other end. Many children paddled the tricycle, but most of them liked to push or pull their tricycles. Some of them raced the whole length without coming out of water to breathe. Only time will tell if they will become champions of Olympic Game. At mean time, they encourage us who are out of breath after swimming for less than 5 yards.
我來試一下。 不好意思,水平太低。今後一定努力學習。
