請教房子的title問題

有朋友最近買了新房，可是房子的TITLE上隻有丈夫的名字。他們結婚十年左右，兩個小孩，平常看著挺和睦的。女主人F2來美國，讀了個碩士，但因為生孩子，一天也沒工作過。她說當初丈夫隻寫自己的名字是因為她沒有收入，寫上會影響貸款利率，將來萬一還不起貸款女的也沒有責任，隻有男的倒黴等等。

看得出這個朋友對這件事隱隱有些不高興，我也覺得男的做的不對，說實話是有點震驚，這樣的老夫老妻竟然買房隻在丈夫一人名下？！但我不確定到底這事對女主人是不是有什麽潛在的不利，還是真的象那個丈夫說到那樣隻有好處呢？

到這裏來打聽打聽，看看各位有沒有這方麵的經驗和知識。
