有朋友最近買了新房，可是房子的TITLE上隻有丈夫的名字

A wife has a claim to the house. I remember when I sold my house 3 years ago, the realtor and my lawyer asked my wife to waive the claim on the property. Only my name in the title.
If the property is bought after marriage, then the wife has a claim, if it’s before the marriage, then wife have no claim at all.

To be a bit more secure in case of accident, a living will is the best to settle everything.
