租房糾紛， 求幫助！萬分感謝！

以前都是在文學城潛水。最近剛注冊。懇請大家幫忙。

兩年前從東海岸搬到加州， 在猶太人區暫租了個Apartment。 最近買了房搬了出來。 沒想到房主不但不給押金， 還另外送來一千多塊錢帳單。 說我們必須支付廚房更換台麵的費用。你們也知道中國人炒菜油煙比較大。 房東的房子幾十年了。台麵倒是新換的， 但買的是最便宜的劣質台麵，並且台麵沒經過適當技術處理， 油和醬油滴到台麵就會滲入到裏麵。我們覺得房東的要求有點過分 想訛詐我們。現在我們想通過小額法庭控告房東，要回我們的部分押金。 可我們已經很長時間沒租過房了，搬出時也沒拍些照片做為證據。 我們谘詢過home depot 的售貨員。售貨員說那應該是台麵質量問題。而且房東把地毯和廚房全換了新的，讓我們全付。  另外， 房東在我們沒有收拾好的情況下，沒有事先告知就敲門檢查拍照。 也應該不和規矩。 這樣的官司能贏嗎？另外， 我們不支付他們的帳單，會影響我們的信用嗎？
