J1 extension and J1 waiver: 特例

按照前人經驗，在J1 waiver 審批期間將J1延期至最長3年+6月。已拿到新的DS2019表，幾乎同時從DOS網上查到recommendation letter for J1 waiver 已送出（尚未收到）。現在的問題是：剛從international office 得知，如果已經遞交J1 waiver 申請的話，這最後的6月是不能被延長的（反之，如果延長這最後的6月，就不能辦J1 waiver）。但事先並不知此情況。而且，international office 已發放DS2019表，也不好收回。所以我現在是既拿到了這最後的6月延期，又即將拿到J1 waiver. 盡管本人並無過失，但覺得如果這最後的6月延期不那麽合法的話，是否會對以後事情（如轉H1及辦綠卡）有影響？請哪位有經驗的大俠指點，不甚感謝！
