除了推薦標示轉基因，NAS的報告還有另外一個重要觀點：

The report urges regulators to look at all new crops, no matter how they're created, if they "have novelty and the possibility of some kind of risk associated with them," Gould says.

即使不是轉基因，現在各種生物育種技術那麽多，也不能都保證產品安全，應該更廣泛地測試。
