Could anyone give me some insight? thanks in advance!!
I am just over 40, female. I have had one natural child birth. I have a pretty healthy lifestyle. I eat a lot of veggies, not too much meat. I have a healthy weight (5’4, 120), but my fat tends to stay in abdominal region. I exercise (moderately) for at least an hour a day.
1. My blood pressure is good. My glucose two hours after breakfast is 110. But my cholesterol (after meal) is 245. LDL is 163. HDL is 67. Triglycerides is 76
How can I reduce my cholesterol? Esp. I already exercise and eat pretty healthy. I do eat sweets a few tims a week. I also drink coffee using creamer (which is rich in fat). Otherwise I cannot think of other bad habits.
2.I have an urination problem. A few times a month I would frequently want to urinate. This would last a few hours. And during the few hours, it is possible I have to urinate every five minutes. There is no pain or blood. And there is no discomfort involved.
It tends to happen a couple days before I menstruate. But it happens other times too. Sometimes after I drink coffee or tea, it happens. But more often it does not happen after I drink coffee or tea.
Is the frequent urination something I should worry about? I asked my previous doctor about this. He shrugged off and said this happens to everyone.
My mother is diabetic.
Could anyone give me some suggestions? Many thanks,
