my oil pulling experience

It seems everyone has good experience about oil pulling. However, my experience is odd. In May, 2013, went to a routine dental exam and found one tooth had a cavity. Forgot about it until in Oct, 2013. That tooth started to feel sensitive to the cold water. Due to job change, no insurance until Dec, 2013. So I started to oil pulling everyday for 15 to 20 minutes. By the Dec, went to see a dentist and found that tooth cavity was so big that root canal. Also he has found four more cavities. So oil pulling doesn't help me at all.

I brushed the teeth after each meal and floss twice a day. I have no idea why my teeth get deteriorate so quickly. I was used to have none cavity. However, the more frequent clean from the dentist office, the more cavity I have got. Wonder if the protect layer on the tooth has been damaged.
